PRO MAZDA PRESENTED BY COOPER TIRES
GRAND PRIX OF HOUSTON: RACE TWO REPORT

Shelby Blackstock, No. 28 Starstruck

   * Started from the 10th position, fought his way to P4 on Lap 1 and finished in third

    * Marked his third podium of the season and 10th in his Pro Mazda career

"It feels great (to grab a podium finish) after starting P10; we've had a rough time all weekend long. We had a good start - it was a little hairy, you could say - and we got the Starstruck car up to P4. It was a good race and a heck of a comeback for the Andretti Autosport guys. I'm happy to get a podium even if it's P3; I'd like to get a win but I'm happy with a podium."

Garett Grist, No. 27 Lander Property Management/DaVinci Foods

    * Began from pole position - the rookie's third consecutive pole

    * Persevered through a drive-through penalty (shown P15) and made his way back to finish ninth

"Unfortunately on the start we made contact and I ended up getting a drive-through penalty... I'll need to watch my video to see what happened because I don't believe we moved in on anyone at all. Today was a tough break for us, but we almost had quickest lap even with the left front suspension being a bit bent from our Lap 1 incident. I think we had a great car thanks to the Lander Property Management/DaVinci Foods team and just bummed we weren't able to showcase that."
